RENA KARANOUH
BA(Hons) Graphic Design, MFA Illustration
Rena has worked for the past thirteen years as a motion graphics designer for a local TV station. She has been teaching in various universities for eight years and has freelanced on a range of diverse projects from environmental campaigns to children's books. Every Sunday she can be found underground in some cave and is thus unavailable for work.
 
LENA MERHEJ
Lena is an illustrator and an animator. She has freelanced in various fields, doing independent short films, comic strips, ezines, children books and awareness campaigns. She teaches and gives workshops in animation, illustration, and comic books.

ZENA EL-KHALIL
zena el-khalil is an installation artist and a painter. her work centers around issues of love, family, religion and war. her work is a direct reflection of the time and space she lives in. she is co-founder and director of xanadu*, an art space/chess club collective based in new york city. zena is also a greenpeace activist and lives with her soulmate warrior of the rainbow, wael and their dog, tampopo.

AREEJ MAHMOUD
Areej currently wanders the realm of advertising and seldom does he engage in his apparent passions, be it illustration or the moving image. He is younger than he appears, but considers this a situation of time and place and denounces the numerical maturity system altogether. It is just like him to give himself a hefty significance.

NADINE RACHID LAURE TOUMA
When I was five years old I wrote" The sun is a bowl of milk!" Since then, haunting images, words have inhabited walls, papers, photos, diaries, and now books. My love of life unravels in words becoming stories, stories becoming artworks, artworks becoming books for everyone to relish in their worlds.
 
 
YERVAN AND AVO HAWARIAN
Beirut 1950's, two Armenian Lebanese brothers Yervan and Avo invade the cinema houses of Martyr Square Beirut with a great talent and ability to paint and recreate cinema film posters. Although they were young they became famous very quickly and were acclaimed for the quality, the beauty, and the creativity of their work.
