I THINK WE WILL BE CALM DURING THE NEXT WAR
In July 2006, Lebanon lived another war. In this comic book, Lena tells her war story as a contemplative diary of her dailies in a simple yet poignant way.
We at Dar Onboz think it is very important to mark the July 2006 war especially in the lives of our adolescents who in their majority continue living as if it didn't happen. We hope that this book will be the beginning of a debate around war and memory.
Includes a stickers sheet of what Lena drew for the displaced children.

MOON
With "Moon", Dar Onboz launches a series of books without words. The narrative is a visual journey where the reader becomes an active participant in the construction of her or his own narrative. "Moon" a book on the fear of the other, on embracing difference and overcoming barriers, on creating our own worlds and synergies, and maybe it is a book about love. At a time when difference is forbidden this book pushes the boundaries that our societies have accepted as norms.
